SabiBooks uses email-based authentication — no passwords needed. You sign up with your email and Nigerian phone number, verify with a one-time code sent to your email, and set up your business profile.

What You Need

• A Nigerian phone number (any network: MTN, Glo, Airtel, 9mobile)
• A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a web browser
• Internet connection for the initial setup (SabiBooks works offline after that)

Registration Steps

1. Open SabiBooks

   Open your browser (Chrome, Safari, or Firefox) and go to app.sabibooks.app. You will see the Welcome screen with a Start Free button.

   Tip

   For the best experience on your phone, tap “Add to Home Screen” or “Install” when prompted. This makes SabiBooks work like a regular app on your phone — with its own icon and full-screen view.

2. Enter Your Details

   Tap Start Free (or Get Started), then fill in:

   • Phone number — Your Nigerian number (e.g., 08012345678). You can also use +234 format
   • Full name — Your name (e.g., “Chidinma Okafor”)
   • Business name — Your shop or company name (e.g., “Mama Chidi Provisions”)

   Tip

   SabiBooks accepts all common Nigerian phone number formats:

   • 08012345678 (local format)
   • +2348012345678 (international format)
   • 2348012345678 (without the plus)

   All major networks are supported: MTN (0803, 0806, 0813, 0816, 0703, 0706), Glo (0805, 0807, 0815, 0905), Airtel (0802, 0808, 0812, 0708), and 9mobile (0809, 0817, 0818, 0909).

3. Verify Your Email

   SabiBooks sends a 6-digit verification code to your email. Open your email app, copy the code, and enter it in the boxes on screen.

   • The code is valid for 10 minutes
   • If you do not receive it, check your spam folder, then wait 30 seconds and tap Resend Code
   • You can request up to 3 codes per session

   Note

   If you already have an account, tap Sign In instead. You will receive a code by email to log in — no password needed.

4. Set Up Your Business Profile

   After verification, you’ll configure your business:

   • Business name — Confirm or edit your business name
   • Business type — Select from: Retail, Wholesale, Restaurant, Services, Manufacturing, or Other
   • State and LGA — Choose your location from the dropdown

5. Explore the Dashboard

   You’re in! SabiBooks opens to your Dashboard showing:

   • Today’s sales (₦0 to start)
   • Quick action buttons (New Sale, Add Product, Add Customer)
   • Low stock alerts (empty until you add products)

6. Add Your First Product

   The fastest way to get started is to add a product right away:

   • Tap the ”+” button on the Products page
   • Enter the product name and selling price
   • Optionally add cost price (for profit tracking) and initial stock quantity
   • Tap Save

OTP Troubleshooting

Having trouble receiving your verification code? Try these steps:

1. Check your email address — Make sure you entered the correct email. Watch for typos
2. Check your spam or promotions folder — The first email from SabiBooks sometimes lands there
3. Wait before resending — There is a 30-second cooldown between code requests
4. Add [email protected] to your contacts — Helps future codes land in the inbox
5. Check your internet connection — Your email app needs network to receive the new message
