Understanding Your Dashboard

The Dashboard is the first screen you see when you open SabiBooks. It gives you a quick overview of your business.

Four cards at the top show your key numbers:

Today's Sales

Total amount (in Naira) you have sold today.

Products

Total number of products in your inventory.

Customers

Total number of customers in your customer list.

Outstanding Credit

Total amount customers owe you right now.

Below the quick stats, you will see a chart showing your sales over time. This helps you spot patterns — for example, if Saturdays are always your busiest days.

Four shortcut buttons to the most common tasks:

ButtonWhere It Takes You
New SaleOpens the POS to record a sale
Add ProductOpens the product creation form
Add CustomerOpens the customer list to add a new customer
ReportsTakes you to your business reports

This section shows products that are running low. When a product’s stock falls below its reorder level, it appears here with a warning.

This section shows a summary of outstanding customer credit. It helps you keep an eye on who owes you money without leaving the dashboard.

SabiBooks has a navigation bar at the bottom of the screen (on mobile) or a sidebar on the left (on tablet/computer):
